Alpha Wave Media was founded in 2001, and started off as a fledgling micro-business, offering simple yet effective websites to small businesses. In 2008 Alpha Wave Media became an incorporated into a limited company. In 2009 we took on our first two members of staff, and branched out to include SEO, Google Adwords and E-mail Marketing in our services. In 2010 we expanded further and have recently secured a small amount of investment capital, which will allow us to grow to achieve our primary goal: to become the best web company in Sussex.

Our business is fast paced and modern. We combine cutting edge technologies with traditional business values, and believe that the key to our success is working with our clients in partnership - to achieve steady realistic results that will enable them to profit fully from the growing online market. 

As an ethically run business, we've taken a refreshing approach. You won't find long term contracts here, and everything we do is fully transparent. You can see every aspect of the work we do, and nothing is hidden - after all, there are few secrets in the work we do, we just know how to do it well. 

Finally, we also know the web's limitations. Our first step is always to take the time to understand your business, industry and sector of the market, and ensure that any solution we propose will yield results and a positive ROI.

Ben Kelly - Managing Director

Ben Kelly started building websites 10 years ago, and has an expert knowledge in all aspects of website design, good development practice, search engine optimisation and Google Adwords. Combined with a passion for business, Ben feels that the key to a successful website is in establishing goals that will help the business, and working to fulfill them. Ben lives in Lewes, East Sussex and enjoys reading, travelling and sailing.

Phil O'Neill - Director

Phil joins AWM to help steer the company strategically to sustainable, profitable growth. He brings a wealth of senior management experience realised in many sectors including computer hardware, office products, and fmcg across much of the globe, latterly as Vice President and Managing Director EMEA Kensington Technology Group. Allied to the MBA he gained from the London Business School, his know how and rigour will help take AWM to its next step on its success story. When not helping run the businesses he is involved with, Phil can usually be found improving his golf handicap on the courses of Kent.

Guenole Marquier - Programmer

Gueno is an expert programmer, with a wide range of web based programming knowledge. Having graduated with a computer science degree in France, he has a wide range of practical experience building websites in PHP, MySQL, Javascript and a variety of other programming languages. An avid windsurfer, Gueno lives in Tunbridge Wells with his girlfriend Agatha and young son Theo.

Will Kelly - Sales Executive

Will joins us from London after a successful sales job in property. With a wide range of experience, he brings with him a new perspective on the expansion and development of the business. Passionate about chess, football and literature, Will is an exciting new addition to the team.

Lisa Goatcher - Sales & Marketing

Lisa joined us after spending time in the Caribbean and US working in marketing. With a degree in History and Politics from the University of Nottingham she brings an international perspective to the work we do. With a passion for travelling she enjoys visiting places off the tourist trail.

Phil Carr - Developer

Phil combines techincal and creative skills with sound business knowledge, having recently studied Business Enterprise Development at the University of Portsmouth. Phil has an excellent understanding of how businesses work online, having worked on a number of large SAAS (software as a service) projects before working with Alpha Wave. A music buff, Phil is also a professional DJ and plays at Brighton's top clubs.

Martin LeTiec - Designer

French born Martin has had a flair for creativity and design since his parents let him loose with a paint box and brush as a toddler. Having completed an intense six year course at the renowned Les Beaux Arts, Rennes, France, Martin now combines his technical skills with his classic arts training and knowledge. A keen sailer, Martin also enjoys classical literature, wine tasting and cycling.

Jack Ellis - Junior Programmer

Jack joins the team as an enthusiastic web developer with a keen passion of all things web.
