Alpha Wave was founded in 2001, and started life as a part-time venture to help support a much younger Ben Kelly through his college years. In 2005 the business grew from an occassional revenue earner to a real business. In 2008 Alpha Wave was incorporated into Alpha Wave Media Ltd, and now employs three people in our Burgess Hill office.

Our business is exciting, modern and combines new technology with traditional business values. We feel there is nothing wrong with the old cliché of putting the customer first – in fact this principle is core to our business. We are ethically run and always suggest options that will help our clients. Online marketing done well can be hugely profitable for businesses, and we make sure everything we do will result in increased revenue and profit for you.

Ben Kelly – Managing Director

Ben combines an eye for design with sound coding practice. Having built his first commercial website aged 16, Ben now has over 8 years experience building websites for businesses, and our clients appreciate his astute understanding of how their business can benefit from online marketing. Alongside web development, Ben has worked in the broadcast sector in post-production and film production, with experience ranging from setting up High Definition editing suites to working as an aerial camera techinican in the USA. Ben lives near Brighton, enjoys travel, sailing and mountain biking, and lives in an 18th century cottage.

Guenole Marquier – Programmer

Gueno is an expert programmer, with a wide range of web based programming knowledge. Having graduated with a computer science degree in France, he has a wide range of practical experience building websites in PHP, MySQL, Javascript and a variety of other programming languages. An avid windsurfer, Gueno has recently moved to Tunbridge Wells with his girlfriend Agatha and young son Theo.

Phil Carr – Developer

Phil combines techincal and creative skills with sound business knowledge, having recently studied Business Enterprise Development at the University of Portsmouth. Phil has an excellent understanding of how businesses work online, having worked on a number of large SAAS (software as a service) projects before working with Alpha Wave. A music buff, Phil is also a professional DJ and plays at Brighton’s top clubs.

Martin LeTiec – Designer

French born Martin has had a flair for creativity and design since his parents let him loose with a paint box and brush as a toddler. Having completed an intense six year course at the renowned Les Beaux Arts, Rennes, France, Martin now combines his technical skills with his classic arts training and knowledge. A keen sailer, Martin also enjoys classical literature, wine tasting and cycling.
